Inbound Marketing is a well known division of marketing in the US, yet to date it remains relatively uncommon in the UK. I recently gave a seminar to a room full of students at University Campus Suffolk and only a couple had heard of it. Given that it’s set to change the face of marketing for most businesses – this isn’t an ideal situation.
To help spread the word about Inbound Marketing, Murray Newlands (the affiliate marketing blogger) and I have set up the London Inbound Marketing Meetup. Each month, we’ll be hosting a free, evening information-sharing and networking event, with the aim of sharing experiences and expertise among the UK’s growing cohort of inbound marketers. The evening will feature short presentations from speakers and experts to help expand our skills and push our creativity to the limits.
The first event will be on 18th Dec. at the Pitcher and Piano in Holborn – starting at 7pm and running until around 9pm. If you’re in town, come along to the Meetup (it’s RSVP only).
