Tickets to Our Social Times events can be bought with a normal credit or debit card (VISA, Mastercard, Amex) via each event website using PayPal’s secure checkout.
You don’t need a PayPal account to book a ticket. When you come to the PayPal checkout page you can either login to your account, or if you don’t have one please select ‘ Don’t have a PayPal account?‘ and you can enter your card details as you would with any normal card transaction.
We cannot currently take payments over the phone, but please contact us if you are having problems paying via the website. In certain circumstances we can issue an invoice for tickets. Full payment is required prior to the event date.

What if I don’t have a PayPal account?
You don’t need a PayPal account to buy tickets, see the information above about purchasing without an account. You can just enter your card details as you would with a normal transaction. If your payment is not accepted this way it may be that the card is already registered to a PayPal account or the maximum limit for using PayPal without an account has been reached on that particular credit or debit card.
My card was not accepted by PayPal
Paypal sometimes reject credit cards for various reasons. It might be that your card is registered outside the payment recipient country or your card is already linked to a PayPal account. Please contact PayPal for support or the best option would be to use a personal card and claim the ticket back with your expenses.
I want to pay by invoice, can I do this?
Yes in some circumstances (for example, group bookings or if you are having persistant payment problems) we can issue you with an invoice. Please contact us with details of the attendees and the events you’d like to attend.
The site crashed, what do I do?
Sometimes our site can crash (it happens!), In this instance we apologise and ask you to try again. If the problem persists please contact us and we’ll help you with your booking.
Can you provide me with a receipt or invoice?
Once you’ve paid for your ticket, you will receive an email confirmation which includes your payment receipt, plus our address and VAT details. If you need us to send you an invoice prior to payment, contact us.
